Another exciting Erasmus+ project has been launched to develop an integrated work-based learning system for professional retraining in the industrial sector across Europe over the next two years.

Context
The rapid evolution of industrial processes, driven by digitalization and automation, is creating an increasing need for workforce reskilling across Europe. Traditional training approaches often fail to address the specific, contextual learning needs of workers who must adapt to new technologies and processes while remaining productive. Learning Brains addresses this challenge by developing integrated work-based learning systems that combine hands-on workplace experience with structured educational approaches.
Main Objectives
The mission is leverage AI tools to innovate workplace training through a comprehensive program and practical resources based on successful experiences. The goal of the project is to support companies in adopting continuous and effective training programs aligned with employee needs.
- Develop innovative work-based learning methodologies tailored for industrial reskilling;
- Create AI-based tools to support personalized learning paths in work environments;
- Foster cooperation between VET providers and industrial partners across Europe
Produce open educational resources for industrial reskilling accessible to a wide audience; - Contribute to the European policy dialogue on modernizing vocational education and training.

Partnership
A transnational consortium of 6 partners from 5 European countries – Spain, Italy, Austria, Portugal and Slovakia – collaborating for 24 months. The team brings together industry associations, business support agencies and training experts from across Europe.
Confindustria Veneto SIAV is a partner in both the SMART and Learning Brains Erasmus+ projects, contributing its expertise to AI-driven SME support and innovative industrial reskilling in Europe.
