On May 12 and 13, 2026 the partners of the SMART project — Strategic Mentoring in Artificial Intelligence for European SMEs — gathered in Kaunas, Lithuania, for the third TPM, hosted by Tech-Park Kaunas.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to take stock of the progress of the Erasmus+ project, which aims to support European SMEs in adapting to the digital transformation and the challenges associated with artificial intelligence.
During the two-day event, the project partners reviewed the activities carried out across the various work packages, confirming that the project is proceeding on schedule and achieving the expected results. A key focus of the meeting was the development of the training modules for WP3, one of the core components of the SMART project.
The partners presented the progress of the training materials and discussed their structure, practical relevance, and overall quality. The common goal is to develop accessible and effective training content tailored to SME representatives and future learners.
The consortium also reviewed the project’s upcoming activities, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure smooth coordination and effective collaboration among all partners during the next implementation phases.
Despite the rainy spring weather typical of Kaunas, the atmosphere of the meeting remained friendly, collaborative, and productive. In addition to the working sessions, participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen international cooperation within the SMART consortium.
Once again, the meeting underscored the importance of European collaboration and knowledge exchange in developing practical solutions that help SMEs address the opportunities and challenges of digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
