SMART in brief
SMART is an Erasmus+ project aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Via its innovative training programme, its ultimate goal is to foster the adoption of AI in SMEs, in order to improve efficiency, productivity and customer experience, creating new job opportunities and stimulating European competitiveness.
Through specific work packages, SMART develops a teaching manual, an e-learning platform and communication activities to disseminate the results. The expected impact includes personalisation of learning, automation of processes and an overall improvement in employee safety and well-being.
The initiative targets VET professionals and students, offering expertise on the practical application of AI as well as ethical and legal aspects, but is also open to sector-specific stakeholders and public autorities to keep the pace of Industry 5.0 revolution.
